World Wide Alloys, LLC was formed by Mr. Stephen Swartz and Mr. Craig Van Hoorn, Craig and Steve have had over 25 combined years of extensive experience relative to the Stud Welding field as it relates to boiler and construction type applications. They are both co-owners of a full service Studwelding company “New Age Fastening Systems, Inc.” which specializes in the installation of various types of studs, most notably cyclone boiler re-studding. Their interest for developing new coatings was fueled by their desire to provide a corrosion resistant stud to be used in volatile boiler environments. The organization's materials engineer, Mr. Kim Wynns brings more than 27 years in materials, corrosion, and coating applications across multiple industries including Petrochemical, Refining, Power, Nuclear, Military and Automotive. Kim currently holds six patents in coatings that are used in aggressive high temperature applications as well as aqueous corrosion. For the last 8 years, Kim has focused on developing new products internationally such as the Nano-Core® Alloy Technology by bridging the technical needs with the applications to develop a viable business. Our Nano-Core® Alloy Wire Technology, a cored wire that delivers greatly reduced deoxidizing alloys for either welded or sprayed applications, is growing in favor amongst many markets. Nano-Core® products can also be supplied in the powder form as well, depending on the method of application dictated by your specific needs. In support of new alloy development, the other divisions of World Wide Alloys are also making great strides such as GlassX. GlassX is focusing on the development and support of various markets with the use of it's fine grinding technology as well as the products that are possible from this technology. Licensing and partnering are available to companies in need for special grinding and pulverizing. World Wide Alloys is also providing technology support as consultants with process development, marketing and technology support. Many of our customers have enlisted our help in the form of consulting services on a project by project basis.
